Kim's grandmother, Lucille Rohrer, passed away this month. She was 89. Kim was in Ft. Walton Beach for nearly a month to be at her mother's side with Grandma (G.G. as we called her) at the hospital. GG went home to be with Jesus on Saturday July 16, 2005, and we held a celebration service for her on Monday, July 18, 2005. G.G.’s daughter Donna Murie is Kim’s mom, and because of her, there are a total of 4 children and spouses, 11 grand children and then even more great grandchildren with no end in sight. What a difference one life can make. As words were said and songs were sung, Kim's dad, Father Ken Murie, preached a Gospel Message of Hope with an invitation to receive Jesus at the close of funeral. The Lord honored His Word at the funeral and the funeral assistant gave his heart to Jesus. He came up to Kim and said that he left building but returned to the sanctuary because of our music and then ultimately heard salvations’ call thru the message. He said, "I prayed with your dad and gave my heart to Jesus. I'll never be the same because of today". We need to live and even die sharing the love of Christ, and the life-changing message of the Gospel.
